After a four-year long investigation into drug activity in Otsego County, authorities say they have arrested a Westchester County man whom they says is part of a large local drug organization.

22 year old Nicholas Torres, also known as ‘J’ is one of over 30 arrests in the investigation into heroin and oxycodone trafficking in Otsego County and surrounding areas.

An arrest warrant was finally issued for Torres in June as he was identified as a person who sold oxycodone, taken from the Covindien pharmaceutical plant in Hobart to an informant in the parking lot of the Southside Mall in Oneonta.

Torrez was arrested July 29 and sent to the Otsego County Jail on $25,000 bail.
