Weather Forces Postponement of Celebrating Women’s Athletics Luncheon

Due to snow and hazardous travel that is forecast to continue in the area through late Monday afternoon the scheduled 10th Annual Celebrating Women's Athletics Luncheon has been postponed.  The event was set for noon Monday in the Events Center at Binghamton University,  It has been rescheduled for Monday, April 27.

Special guest speaker for the luncheon is Rebecca Lobo.  Lobo was an All-American basketball player at the University of Connecticut and was an Olympic Champion.with Team USA.  She is currently an ESPN analyst.  She has committed to be in attendance on the rescheduled date.

The annual luncheon raises money for the University's women's athletic programs and draws between 500 and 600 business and community members who support Binghamton University athletics.  All current reservations will be honored for the luncheon on April 27.  Anyone with questions can contact Bette Ann Gaube at the University at 607-777-2093.
