Walton Felon Found With Guns Illegally

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say they caught a convicted felon in possession of a weapon.

Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious fire at around 7:45 p.m. July 6 on Wilderness Mountain Drive in the Town of Hamden and found convicted felon 58 year old Louis Brigandi Junior of Walton in possession of marijuana, prescription pills without a prescription and two firearms he wasn’t supposed to have under his status as a convict.

Brigandi is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana.

He was sent to the Delaware County Jail on $1,500 bail.
