A Vestal man could serve up to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to charges for a shooting in the men's room of Victoria's Cafe' in Binghamton in 2010 and later weapons possession counts.

24 year old Jovan Gresham admitted to shooting 33 year old Karishen Marks eight times at the Susquehanna Street business on February 28th almost three years ago.

Marks suffered serious injuries but survived the attack.

Gresham also admitted that in March and April of 2011 he unlawfully had a loaded .45 handgun in his possession.

Gresham was scheduled to go on trial Monday before entertaining the guilty pleas Friday. He is currently free on $50,000 bail.

Sentencing is scheduled for April 1st.
