UPDATE: Two Injured in Route 17 Crash Near Sanford Sunday Afternoon
New York State Police are providing more information about a one-car crash in the Town of Sanford Sunday, September 27 that sent two Dutchess County residents to the hospital.
Authorities say the crash happened near exit 84 at around 1:45 p.m. September 27.
State Police say the Honda Pilot, driven by Wulder Cateneda of the Village of Pauling was traveling eastbound when, for an unknown reason went off the roadway, struck a delineator, an embankment then rolled.
20-year old Joselyn Castaneda-Guzman, also of Pawling, was airlifted to UHS Wilson Medical Center, where she was last listed in stable condition. The driver was transported by ambulance to Wilson Hospital. Troopers say another passenger, 55-year-old Mercedes Guzman of Pawling was not hurt.
The investigation is continuing.
