Two Binghamton teenagers and two juveniles are accused of being in possession of a stolen vehicle and fleeing police.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say the owner of the stolen 2007 Hyundai Sonata followed their stolen car and notified authorities.

Deputies, New York State Police and Binghamton Police pursued the vehicle on Old Front Street before taking three occupants into custody while one juvenile ran off and was captured following a short chase.

17 year old Angel Clement and 16 year old Nyjee Johnson are charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property.

Sheriff’s officials say Clement also had a felony bench warrant out of Johnson City for tampering with evidence and a Broome County Court warrant for juvenile delinquency.

Clement was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail while Johnson was released on his own recognizance.

The juveniles were released to their parents but officials say additional charges are expected to be filed against the children.
