Two Injured Following Endicott Pursuit and Crash
A man and another person were hurt after he allegedly fled from police and collided with another vehicle in Endicott.
Authorities say the crash happened late Saturday afternoon on the North Side of the village.
Investigators say a driver failed to comply with a police officer around 4:30 p.m. The vehicle was pursued on several Endicott streets.
The chase ended when a sport utility vehicle collided with a car at the intersection of Watson Boulevard and Oak Hill Avenue.
Police say 20-year-old Justin Vymislicky, the driver of the vehicle that fled, and a passenger were taken to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City for treatment.
The occupants of the other vehicle were evaluated at the scene and released.
Charges against Vymislicky are pending.
