Two Fires in Tioga County Under Investigation

Authorities are investigating two fires in Tioga County overnight November 17 but details are not being made available concerning either incident.

One fire was reported in the Barton area where several companies were called to a burning structure, according to accounts, on Crane Road.  According to the reports on the Tioga Fire Wire, several neighboring departments were called with a request for mutual aid at around 10 p.m. 

There was no official confirmation of the location or time of the fire or if anyone was injured.

Also, at around 11:30 p.m., fire crews from Candor were called to Brush and Palette Auto on Owego Road with a report of a fire. 

Both blazes are under investigation. WNBF will have more information as it is made available..
