Police burst into a home in a quiet Endwell neighborhood around dawn as they executed a narcotics search warrant.

Two men face charges following the raid at 1030 Autumn Drive in Park Manor, which happened around 6:45 Monday morning.

Authorities say 2.2 ounces of cocaine and drug packaging materials were seized from the home.

Investigators say 47-year-old Peter Ruff was charged with three felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Ruff was arraigned in Union town court and sent to Broome County Jail.

Police say Derrick Jones was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket for Union town court.

One neighbor said he was "very happy" after the raid. He said people who live in the area had suspected there was drug-related activity occurring at the house.
