A man and a woman face dozens of charges after they were taken into custody in Johnson City following a domestic dispute.

Authorities say Kawon Imes and Shanta Rahmee were sent to Broome County Jail following Thursday's incident.

Investigators say Broome County sheriff's deputies were sent to investigate a dispute in the Westover area. The suspect reportedly fled to a residence on Grand Avenue in Johnson City which had been targeted in an ongoing investigation.

Police executed a search warrant and seized a loaded .40 caliber handgun. They also confiscated one pound of marijuana, several ounces of concentrated cannabis and 13 grams of crack cocaine.

Detectives say Imes and Rahmee were charged with felony and misdemeanor counts related to the weapon and drugs found during the investigation.
