Two Arrested in Saratoga Terrace Drug Raid
Two Binghamton residents are facing felony drug charges following a raid on the Saratoga Terrace Apartments March 22
Officials with the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force say they arrested 39-year-old Lester McKines and a 19-year-old boy and recovered a loaded .40caliber handgun, .40 caliber ammunition, about 26 grams of fentanyl powder, 5 grams of MDMA or “Ecstasy,” over two ounces of marijuana, drug packaging materials and $7,500 in suspected drug sale money.
McKines is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony criminal possession of over a half-ounce of a controlled substance, felony criminal possession of a loaded firearm, felony criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction and felony criminal possession of a deface firearm along with two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.
The 19-year-old is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled hallucinogenic substance, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and misdemeanor criminal possession of marijuana.
