Sheriff’s officials say a Sterling Well Drilling truck failed to make a turn in the road and tipped over at 4:39 p.m. blocking both lanes at the Meredith/Delhi Town Line.
Authorities say 47-year-old Michael Lutz of Red Hook, New York was ticketed for making an unsafe lane change and failure to display a license plate.
Deputies say apparently Lutz was traveling east when he encountered the curve in the road. The truck went off the right shoulder and, after re-entering the road, the truck began to skid sideways and rolled onto its right side, blocking both the east and west lanes.
