Town of Maine Man Jailed After Tioga Traffic Stop

A Broome County man faces several charges following a traffic stop in the Town of Owego.

Authorities say 26-year-old Cody Yarrington of Maine was arrested on Friday at 1:35 a.m.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Yarrington was stopped by a deputy on Park Settlement Road.

Yarrington was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a breath screening device. He also was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, consumption of alcohol in a vehicle and moving from a lane unsafely.

Yarrington was arraigned in Town of Owego Court. He was sent to Tioga County Jail on $5,000 bail.
