Pennsylvania State Police say a Dushore man is dead after he apparently drove into the path of a tractor trailer in Towanda Wednesday, February 10.

76 year old Richard Wilcox was driving on State Route 220 at around 7:30 a.m. when his vehicle crossed into the path of the Peterbuilt tanker truck, causing the truck to burst into flames. There has been no word on injuries to the truck driver.

Route 220 was closed for several hours.

The Bradford County Coroner has ruled the death accidental as a result of blunt force traumatic injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation
