Tioga Launches New To-Go Website

Tioga County Tourism and the Chamber of Commerce launch Tioga-to-Go, a new campaign to promote carry-out, delivery and curbside pickup from local restaurants.

The program includes a website with links to menus and maps for customers.

Restaurants have been especially hard-hit with a loss of business from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Many were able to get by with outdoor dining during the warm weather to off-set some of the occupancy limits. But, with the temperature starting to drop, many are concerned about whether they will be able to survive as restrictions remain in effect to try to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Tioga County officials say there are over 50 restaurants with very diverse cuisines offered in the county that are available for take-out.

Diners can search different towns and villages around Tioga County and view menus at www.tiogatogo.com and go directly to a restaurant's Facebook pages for mroe information.
