Tioga Drug Sweep Nets Six

Tioga County Sheriff's officials say they have made more arrests in the on-going investigation into the distribution and use of illegal drugs in the county and, specifically in the Village of Owego.

Authorities have arrested six more people in the effort, all for criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Officials say 22 year old Andrea Tucker of Owego, 31 year old Tyrone Crenshaw, aka Black Tye or Little Tye of Endicott, 25 year old Michael Darling of Apalachin, 30 year old Christin Cade of Owego, 28 year old Summer Drury of Owego and 20 year old Darrick Cody of the Town of Tioga were picked up in the latest effort.

Eight others were arrested in March.

The investigation is continuing.
