Tioga Downs Casino Resort Donates Easter Dinners

Tioga Downs Casino Resort is donating $100,000 to help fight food insecurity in the region.

The Town of Nichols casino is helping to provide 5,000 Easter dinners next month through the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.

Food Bank officials say the donation will provide ham, and all the sides for Easter dinner for residents in Broome, Tioga, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Tompkins Counties.

The Mobile Food Pantry March 8 kicked off the initiative that will continue through the month of March.

Tioga Downs Casino and Resort owner Jeff Gural has supported the Food Bank of the Southern Tier for 12 years.
