Tioga Down Gives Away Pizza in Waverly for Families in Need

Tioga Downs is giving away half-sheet pizzas to help feed families in need June 2 and 3 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Pizza will be given to the first 250 people each day at Soprano’s Market on Cayuta Avenue. Waverly, N.Y.

Officials at the casino in Tioga County, which is still closed under the Pause NY coronavirus response, say they recognize many members of the community are out of work and families are finding it difficult to make ends meet as the pandemic and shutdown continue.

The half-sheets from Soprano’s will be given to the first 250 people who arrive each day on a first come first serve basis and there is a choice of plain or pepperoni as supplies last.
