A 55 year old Richford man will be sentenced in  March after pleading guilty to sending child pornography from his computer.

Timothy Deuel faces up to 20 years in federal prison after entering his guilty plea last week to a felony count of distributing material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor in August of last year. But he told authorities he had downloaded and possessed child pornography for a couple of years.

Investigators say they found about 20 videos and multiple images of children engaged in sexual acts.  Officials with the U.S. Attorney’s Office say some of the children in the images were under the age of 12.

Deuel will be required to register with New York State as a sex offender.

Court records show Deuel had been convicted in 1989 on a misdemeanor sexual misconduct count, accused of having sex several times with a 15 year old.
