Tioga Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Community Supporters
A school district, the owner of a long-time Owego business who is newly retired and a popular inn and restaurant are being recognized in the annual awards from the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce.
Hand of Man owner Pat Hansen was awarded the Community Impact Award, Owego Apalachin Central Schools was given the Legacy Award and Parkview Inn & Dugan House Restaurant got Business of the Year during the annual awards dinner this week.
The recognitions were given to Chamber Members making a significant contribution to the community and who help promote the Chamber’s mission of supporting and promoting the economic and civic well-being of Tioga County.
This is the last awards ceremony that will be led by Chamber President and CEO Gwen Kania. She announced late last year that she would be retiring in May.
