The NHL and NHLPA (NHL Player's Association) met on Wednesday to discuss the situation.  The meeting adjourned with the thought that the league and players will move forward in line with guidance provided by medical experts and local authorities.

According to results released from that meeting the earliest potential return to group workouts would be mid to late May. With three to four weeks of conditioning and practice that would push any possible return to game competition into June.
