Three Die In Bradford County Head-On Crash

Police say a boy and two adults died as the result of a two-vehicle crash in Bradford County.

Authorities say the head-on collision happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday in Burlington township.

According to state police, a vehicle traveling south on Burlington Turnpike crossed into the oncoming lane and crashed into the other vehicle.

Investigators say Clifton Heasley and Sarah Lynn Heasley of Towanda were pronounced dead at the scene. A boy who was riding with them was injured.

Police say a boy who was a passenger in the other vehicle was pronounced dead at Towanda Memorial Hospital.

Two others who were in the second vehicle, Phillip Frisbie and Chey Anna Wood, both of Towanda, were hurt.
