Three Chenango Valley High School Seniors Earn NY Seal Of Biliteracy
School District for over 20 years and I love their slogan, "We inspire, engage and empower all students to achieve their full potential." I've seen the difference this school has made in my kid's and their friends' lives.
Three Chenango Valley High School Seniors Earn New York Seal of Biliteracy
Recently, Chenango Valley High School announced that three 2022 Seniors have earned the Seal of Biliteracy. Congratulations to seniors Isabelle Dithrich, Tara Pitcher and Saniah Reeves as they earned the New York State Seal of Biliteracy.
This is an honor that Tara is extremely proud of. In 2019, she hosted a French exchange student named Lucie. They were two peas in a pod and she couldn't wait to go to France in 2020 to stay with Lucie. Then COVID happened and she was unable to go and she was devasted. She still hopes to go someday.
They each gave their own presentations to earn credit for fluency in the English language with the help from Mr. Italiano. The three girls will receive this distinction of their diplomas when they graduate in June.
The New York State Seal Of Biliteracy
The New York State Seal of Biliteracy recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages, in addition to English.
As a result of their hard work and dedication, they'll receive this distinction for French with Madame Henyan as their mentor. Congratulations to these amazing Warrior women.
