This Spellbinding Holidays Light Display Is Only 25 Minutes From Vestal [GALLERY]
If you’re searching for a Christmas experience the whole family will love, then look no further than the Tall Pines Forest of Lights.
My family lives on the outskirts of Friendsville, Pennsylvania, a rural town with a population of just 111 in the 2010 census. Locals joke that a person is more likely to see a cow than a car and they're not far from the truth. However, once a year, traffic picks up and locals know where everyone is headed - to Tall Pines Players Club for the Forest of Lights.
From the Vestal Parkway in Vestal to Friendsville, Pennsylvania, the travel time is about 24 minutes and it's a drive well worth it to check out the mile-long drive-through Forest of Lights Christmas lights display at Tall Pines Players Club.
Not only will you enjoy a mile-long drive-through lights display, but back again for 2021 will be Santa's Workshop where you'll find the jolly man himself, be able to send a letter to the North Pole, purchase snacks and toe warming drinks, do kid's activities, and enjoy s'mores over an open fire.
Tall Pines will also be opening its restaurant to full capacity again, so before or after you drive through the lights and visit Santa's Workshop, you can enjoy dinner. Keep in mind though that reservations are required if you'd like to eat at the restaurant. You can make your dinner reservation by calling 570-553-4653.
Forest of Lights will be open from November 26, 2021, through December 31, 2021 (with the exception of November 29 and November 30, December 6, 7, and 24). Forest of Lights is open from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and admission rates apply.
