An unlikely pairing appears on the July 6 edition of the weekly local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up as Laurie Bowen, Tournament Director for the Levene, Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger and Director of Marketing for the Discovery Center, Martha Steed talk about the relationship between the tennis tournament and the children's museum, including the Pastabilities with a Taste of Tennis fundraiser for the Discovery Center at the close of play July 18.

The tennis tournament, which draws world class players, will take place July 13-21 at Recreation Park in Binghamton.

2012 US Open Champion, 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist and 2005 LG&T Challenger Champion, Andy Murray will be among players at this year's 20th anniversary pro tennis tournament in Binghamton.

Steed also discussed the numerous events and summer camps being offered at the Discovery Center.
