Republican Claudia Tenney apparently is poised to launch an effort to regain the congressional seat she lost to Democrat Anthony Brindisi last fall.

The New York Daily News reported a Tenney campaign kickoff video was posted online so she could get some feedback from a few people before it was scheduled to be made public Tuesday.

The news outlet said the video vanished Monday afternoon.

Tenney in recent months has said she was considering another bid for the 22nd District congressional seat.

Tenney was paying attention to Brindisi during an August 8 appearance he made on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now program. She responded by email to some of his comments during a studio interview.

In recent months, several Republicans have announced they are seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Brindisi in November 2020.
