Snow is expected in areas north of Broome County.

No major traffic issues were being reported, but dozens of schools are off to a slow start for classes due to the first ice storm of the new year.

NOAA has released the 2014-2015 Winter Weather Predictions and according to the maps below it looks like Binghamton falls into the part of the country where weather could go multiple ways.
