A new program is addressing young people dealing with substance abuse in Broome County.

The Broome County Department of Mental Health is getting funds to help people with substance abuse and other issues transition from prison back into the community.

Two beds are being added to the Addiction Crisis Center in Binghamton following approval by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.
