Round Top Picnic Area

A stunning view of the Susquehanna River valley has been restored as part of a project to develop a scenic overlook platform at Roundtop Picnic Area in Endicott.

Construction is underway on long-planned enhancements at two parks in western Broome County.

A scenic overlook and trail improvements will be made in Endicott and the town of Union using money provided by a federal agency.

Workers have been busy at a park in western Broome County restoring a portion of the once-spectacular view of the Susquehanna River valley below.

Some Endicott residents say something valuable has disappeared from a small but much-loved park in the village.
