Hurricane Ida

The New York annual statewide holiday donation drive starts December 9.

Chobani is sending donations of its products to Louisiana and New York City to help with hurricane and flood recovery and to Afghan evacuees.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reported early September 2 that dozens of roads were closed or with lane restrictions due to flooding.

Authorities say what is left of Hurricane Ida will be soaking the region starting midday September 1 and continuing overnight.

Flash Flood Watches are being expanded in anticipation of the arrival of what is left of Hurricane Ida.

With Ida continuing to wreak destruction in the south, northern states are already starting to prepare for impacts of the storm later in the week.
