Stroudsburg Man Admits Arranging for Sex With Two Girls in NY
A Pennsylvania man is sentenced in federal court in Binghamton to over 18 years in prison for admitting traveling into the region with the intent of having sex with two children.
Officials with the U.S. Attorney’s Office say 28-year-old Anthony Miceli of East Stroudsburg pleaded guilty to attempted enticement for talking to an undercover officer whom he thought was the parent of an eight-year-old and five-year-old about setting up having sex with the little girls.
Authorities say Miceli admitted that from January 25, 2020 through February 3, 2020 he talked to someone he believed was the parent of the girls and attempted to set up a meeting in New York to engage in sexual acts with both children. He was arrested February 3 when he traveled to the Northern District of New York.
Miceli was sentenced to 220 months in prison. In addition, he’s been ordered to serve 15 years on probation and will have to register as a sex offender when he gets out of prison.
