Fatal Pedestrian/Vehicle Crash in Caroline

New York State Police are investigating a deadly collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian in Tompkins County.

Troopers responded to Buffalo Road in the Town of Caroline shortly at 3:36 p.m. April1. 73-year-old Charles Mohler of Brooktondale was transported to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Natalie Robertson of Brooktondale.

The authorities say Mohler later died of his injuries.

Robertson is charged with driving while impaired by drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

She’s been ordered to appear in Town of Caroline Court next month.
