The Travel Ban in Chenango County under a State of Emergency due to the storm that was declared earlier this week has been replaced by a Travel Advisory.  It’s still recommended motorists stay off the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary.

Emergency Services officials in Broome, Chenango and Tioga Counties are expecting to be handing out more dry ice and water again April 21 as new supplies are made available.

April 20, supplies ran out quickly at fire stations in Lisle, Union Center, Deposit and Conklin.  Authorities will be providing updates as supplies come in as to where water and dry ice can be found. Those updates in Broome County are being posted at the Broome Office of Emergency Services Facebook page.
