State Baseball Championships Set for Friday and Saturday in Broome County

For the 16th consecutive season the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) is holding its baseball championships in Broome County.  All five classifications are competing.  Semifinals are scheduled for Friday at 2 PM and 5 PM at five different venues.  Section 4 has two schools competing for state championships.  Maine-Endwell meets Canandaigua from Section 5 in a Class A semifinal at Sylvester Field in Endicott at 2 PM.  Susquehanna Valley faces Center Moriches in a Class B semifnal at SUNY Broome at 5 PM.

Here are the venues used for the semifinal rounds:

Class AA at Binghamton University

Class A at Union-Endicott

Class B at at SUNY Broome

Class C at Maine-Endwell

Class D at Conlon Field in Binghamton

Championship games will be played on Saturday at two sites. Class AA, B and C will play at Binghamton University with Class A at 10 AM, Class B at 1 PM and Class C at 4 PM.

Union-Endicott will be the site of the Class AA Championship at 10 AM and the Class D Championship at 1 PM.
