Stamford Man Ticketed in 2 Vehicle Injury Crash in Bloomville
Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say a Stamford, New York man is being ticketed in connection with a two vehicle crash October 16 on State Highway 10 in Bloomville.
Deputies say, at about 1:30 p.m., 74 year old Barent Rossman Junior is accused of hitting another southbound vehicle driven by 54 year old Michael Carey of Nanuet, New York, who was making a left turn from his lane of travel.
Rossman was taken to O’Connor Hospital for evaluation while a passenger, 53 year old Angela Smith, also of Samford, suffered a leg injury and was taken to O’Connor Hospital.
Rossman was ticketed for failure to keep right, moving from a lane unsafely and speed not reasonable and prudent.
Bloomville Fire Department, Delhi Fire and EMS and Cooperstown medical Transport also responded with Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies.
