Starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, Traffic on Interstate 81 northbound will be reduced to a single lane between Exit 4 and the junction of Interstate 88.  There will be no Exit closure for that part of the project to re-construct the Exit 5 interchange on I-81.  The overnight work on Tuesday is expected to be complete by 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 23.

All work is weather dependent.

Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says there will be a lane restriction on Interstate 81 north and south in Susquehanna County starting this week and lasting into next month.

PennDOT says the restriction will be in place from Exit 206, the Glenwood/Lenoxville exit, to Exit 230 in Great Bend for guiderail repair.  The work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through April 15 with no work planned for Fridays.
