Emergency Services officials in Chenango and Tioga Counties are reporting road crews have been sent out to deal with some slippery conditions.

The National Weather Service has recorded a half inch or less of accumulation of snow over the nighttime and early morning hours on February 10.

Motorists are advised to give themselves a little extra time for the commute  as snow is forecast to continue on and off through February 15.

NOAA says snow showers could bring accumulations of an inch of snow to the region tomorrow through early next week.

In addition, progressively colder weather is expected to spread over the region with bitterly cold conditions on Saturday, February 13.
