Some SUNY Broome Community College students will have a guaranteed “in” to the new Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences when it opens in Johnson City.

A partnership between BCC and BU will mean eight students from BCC, who meet program qualifications, will be accepted into the new school.

The golden ticket to the pharmacy school will go to Health Sciences and Liberal Arts Science students that complete all required classes, maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average in math and science, get at least a 50 on the Pharmacy College Admission Test and submit a Pharmacy College Service application.

Other students who do not meet all the requirements can still apply.
