Motorists may encounter some slippery conditions again as light snow began falling in the Greater Binghamton area at around 11 p.m. December 13.

Road crews were out in force treating roadways but outlying areas, higher elevations, ramps and bridges continued to be of particular concern.

The Southern Tier was been issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook by the National Weather Service but Northern Pennsylvania is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 a.m December 14.

The National Weather Service said the snow was to taper off during the morning.
