Slippery Morning Commute Possible for New York and Pa.
The National Weather Service says roads may be slippery due to some snow and mixed precipitation overnight combined with temperatures lingering around the freezing mark.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 10 a.m. February 13
Additional snow accumulations were expected to be mainly less than an inch, with locally up to an additional inch or two across the higher elevations of the Catskills. Ice accumulations of a light glaze were also projected by the National Weather Service in Binghamton.
The Advisory area covers almost all of New York and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania except to a strip along the far eastern edge of New York State.
Motorists are advised to plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact this morning`s commute. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
