Six Pounds of Marijuana Seized in Tioga County Raid
A Nichols man faces a felony charge after police confiscated several pounds of marijuana.
Authorities say 24-year-old Roger Cole was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at a residence on West River Road.
According to New York State Police, troopers and Tioga County sheriff's deputies arrived at the site around 5:45 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators say about six pounds of marijuana was seized. Police also found equipment used to cultivate marijuana.
Cole was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child.
Cole was arraigned in Nichols town court. He was sent to Tioga County Jail on $20,000 bail.
