Notable Arrests in Broome County: Recent Cases Revealed

In recent weeks, the Broome County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO)has been busy making several significant arrests and dealing with a range of charges.

While this is not a complete list of all the arrests, this is an idea of what the BCSO has been taking care of recently.

Daquan Maurice Brown

A 34-year-old resident of Binghamton was charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 1st Degree and Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, following a forgery investigation in the Town of Chenango.

Stephany M. Cook

A 39-year-old individual from Endicott faced charges of Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, following a larceny investigation in the Town of Union.

Cody W. Diffendorf

A 20-year-old from Kirkwood was charged with Manslaughter in the 2nd Degree after a fatal motor vehicle accident in the Town of Binghamton.

John J. Durgala

A 34-year-old Binghamton resident faced charges of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 1st Degree, along with several traffic violations following a traffic stop in the Town of Union.

Sally A. Goff

A 64-year-old from Binghamton was charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a traffic stop in the Town of Union.

James M. Macdowall

A 26-year-old from Binghamton, faced charges of Manslaughter in the 2nd Degree, following a fatal motor vehicle accident in the Town of Binghamton.
