Shaw Road Closed

A portion of Shaw Road in the Town of Conklin will be closed effective tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. According to a press release provided by Broome County the closure is effective in the early morning.. Broome County Commissioner of Public Works Dan Schofield said the closure is due to a water service break in the road.

Work crews will dig up a portion of the road to replace pipe and make the necessary repairs. Officials say the closure remains in effect until the pipe is repaired.
