School District Makes Provision for Kids Walking to Class in the Cold
Some local school districts are preparing for a blast of cold weather with plans to implement special accommodations for students who walk to school.
The Maine Endwell School District will activate “Code Blue” transportation plans January 30-February 1 if needed offering transportation for students who normally walk to school if it’s determined to be too cold.
A listing of bus stops involved are available on the Maine Endwell website:

Parents in other schools should check their district’s cold weather policy and listen for any updated school announcements pertaining to the weather.
