A Sayre, Pennsylvania woman is accused of issuing thousands of dollars in bad checks to a credit union office in Bradford County.

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Pennsylvania State Police say 41-year-old Melissa Adams was arrested September 18.

The woman is accused of "knowingly, intentionally and repeatedly" producing bad checks to the Visions Federal Credit Union in Towanda.

Authorities say the checks totaled $3,985.86.
