I remember the first time I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The year was 1975 and I was in my second year of college, or was it my third? I forget. So long ago. Anyway, a  bunch of my college friends were hesitant to check it out, not realizing how much of a cult following it would become in time as a midnight movie favorite.

Well, we were impressed with the movie after that first viewing, and grew to like it even more as it became one of those must see movies, especially when audience members would come dressed in their favorite character and recreate some of the scenes as they happened in the theater.

So, with Halloween just around the corner, how about bringing back the movie to Binghamton? Sound good? Okay, here are all the details.

We've joined up with Music for The Mission, Fox 40 WICZ, WIVT and WBNG for a showing of the the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday October 23rd at 7 p.m. inside the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex Dome on Airport Road. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Bring your blankets or chairs, and yes, costumes are encouraged, but  we do ask that all attendees refrain from throwing any objects, especially rice or water due to the concerns with the spread of Covid-19.
