New York State Electric and Gas officials say most customers without power from the Monday storm have been anticipated to be back with power by Thursday afternoon  ( May 4)

The storm Monday (May 1) interrupted power to thousands of residents in the Twin Tiers.

Bottled water and dry ice were provided to residents with prolonged power outages.

The American Red Cross continues to assist residents.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the storm.
