Spring is officially here and plans for the summer months are being set, including at the Kopernik Observatory and Science Center in Vestal.

The educational and family destination is announcing that it is starting to accept applications for week-long summer camp programs for students who will be entering grades two through 12 for the 2022-2023 school year. 

The camps provide hands-on and high-tech adventures in science, technology, engineering and math in a fun environment, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June through August.

Programs include computer coding, rocket design, environmental science and space exploration.
