Public Rude to Broome COVID Contact Tracers
Broome County Executive Jason Garnar says rapid testing for the coronavirus is being ramped up as the county tries to get a hold of the recent surge in cases, mainly attributed to the Delta variant.
Garnar says starting this week the site at the Broome County Health Department will double its testing, expecting to do more than 100 a day.
While testing and positive test results for COVID-19 are both going up, Broome County Executive Jason Garnar is urging residents to be nice to the contact tracers who are calling those who have come back with positive test results.

The Democrat says “We’re all tired of COVID” but the tracers are just doing their job trying to get a handle on where the cases are coming from and keeping the virus from spreading.
