The flood of presidential candidates and their relatives into the Binghamton area appears to be over in preparation of the April 19 New York State Primary balloting.

Last week saw Democrat Bernie Sanders and Republican Ted Cruz making stops in Binghamton trying to woo voters while, over the weekend, Candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign sent in the family team with former President Bill Clinton speaking Saturday, April 16 at Binghamton University and daughter, Chelsea Clinton appearing at the Lost Dog Café downtown Sunday, April 17.

Primary voting April 19 in New York State is noon to 9 p.m. Only registered Republicans and Democrats are eligible to vote in the primary.
